synopsis |
This story chronicles
the lives of three very different women with three very similar struggles.
Red, Barbie and Mary
must deal with negative physical
stereotypes, something we all encounter sooner or later. These
women go through life struggling to accept themselves and each
other regardless
of their differences. This play is a reminder not to take ourselves
too seriously, that we should never allow society’s opinions to
dictate who we are and who we will become.

A
production company of performers and writers with the desire
not only to entertain but also to showcase our talents. This
is a brand new company formed by Elizabeth Klingele with the
intent of producing many more stage plays both old and new. The
next project on our plate is the play "And then there were none"
based on the Agatha Christie novel "Ten Little Indians". Our
intention is to provide a fun, hardworking environment filled with
good
people who are interested in growing within the entertainment
industry. We've put together a group of professional actors and
crew and secured a wonderful performance space the Ruby Theater

ELIZABETH KLINGELE
(Writer, Producer, Playing Red "Redhead" McGee)
Elizabeth
Klingele grew up in Belleville, Illinois and attended
college at the University of Kansas.
The majority of her
roots do come from the mid-west, however she feels very
much at home in Los Angeles. The character of Red
is very dear
to her as are all of the characters in the play because
they are her creation. She is very thankful to
the numerous friends
and family members who have supported her and given her
the courage to bring these characters to life.
But she is especially
thankful to the rest of the cast and to the director
Bryan Beasley for their time, patience, support
and most of all
their friendship. She hopes you enjoy your evening and
have a few laughs at her expense. |

BRYAN BEASLEY
(Director)
Bryan
was raised in Oklahoma City, OK and graduated in ’96
from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
His senior thesis film, “Key To The Crime”,
had a prosperous run on the short film festival circuit.
In addition to his studies at NYU, Bryan was fortunate
enough to work for Sigourney Weavers’ production
company. Since relocating to Los Angeles in 1997, he has
worked in television for Viacom Productions; "Diagnosis
Murder" and "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch".
In 1998 Bryan established Eighth Day Production L.L.C.
(EDP). Eighth Day is focused on independent film, music
and photography. The short films, “Experiencing Raju” and "Sisyphus
Rocks" both toured the country's film festival circuit. "Experiencing
Raju" won the prestigious Silver Star at Houston Worldfest.
EDP is currently promoting rising rock bands “The
Spicy Rizzaks” and “Fletcher” who have
played at such world famous venues as New York City’s
CBGB’s and Los Angeles’ The Whiskey a Go-Go.
Last summer Bryan was back in NYC to direct the hip play "HurlyBurly" which
open to great reviews and had a healthy run at The Mint
Theater. Recently, he finished directing the new music
video from Fletcher; the hit single "Sidewalks & Limousines".
Finally, Bryan is an accomplished photographer and
his portfolio is available at www.bryanbeasley.com.

MAGDA MOLINA
(Playing
Mary "Brunette" Brown) Magda
Molina was born and raised in Montreal, Canada where
she developed a passion for acting at a very young age.
She studied at the National Theater School of Canada, and
landed a few co-star and guest-star roles on the French
Canadian networks shortly after graduating. She also got
a supporting role in a feature film; and although she truly
enjoyed on camera work, she kept going back to her first
love and getting involved in plays on her free time. Feeling
ready for the “big leagues”, she packed up
her car and drove to Los Angeles a year ago. She didn’t
waste any time since she already booked lead roles on three
independent films (“Johanna”, “Conjuring
the Call” and “Three Keys”), and a supporting
role in another (“Bleeding hearts”). Always
working on her craft, she is currently studying at the “Film
Actors Workshop”, and also expanded her horizons
by studying singing and voice-over.
